Trust M ixed Motives

WHY DO SOME men and women take action when the safe and sensible thing is to get out of the line of fire? The answer is that sometimes people find they can’t walk away from a person or a situation. Something engages them. And then they go to work, resolutely and creatively, and they persevere, despite inconveniences, uncertainties, long hours, and professional hazards.
