The Morning Star Company is the largest tomato processor in the world.1 With about 40 percent of the US market, Morning Star had estimated revenues in 2023 of $1.2 billion to $1.4 billion, and employed about three thousand people during its peak harvesting season. Located in the San Joaquin valley in California, the company is involved in greenhouse operations, as well as transplanting, growing, and harvesting tomatoes.
