A cadence is something that happens over and over at regular intervals, forming a rhythm or heartbeat in the project. Here is a summary of our cadences:

Retrospectives happen every second week (every week for some teams). That’s where we look for ways to improve the process.
Planning happens every second week (approximately). That’s where we decide which features to focus on next.
Demo and system test is done in a continuous fashion, as features get done.
Release to production is done approximately every second month
