Velocity, Throughput, and Lead Time
Okay, we’ve discussed flow versus batch methodologies. Let’s look at the effects of these systems with an expanded discussion on time and speed. You may see these terms used in slightly different ways and that’s OK, it’s all in the interpretation. Here are the words:
