Value Stream Mapping (Baselining)
A fundamental tool of the Lean journey is a baseline analysis. The flyby objective of this powerful tool is to define the current state of a chosen business process, evaluate the system for waste and opportunity, create a future (proposed) state of the process, and formulate a plan of action to get there.
