AC equation derivations (chapter 6)

Deriving charge over time

Chapter 1 showed that current is the flow of charge at a specific point for a specific length of time – this can now be defined mathematically as the rate of change of charge over time:

Current, I=dQdt(6.1)
I is the current in amperes (A)
dQ is the rate of change of charge in coulombs (C)
dt is the rate of change of time in seconds (s)
