An Introduction to Rigid Bodies
The Rigid Body simulation is another way to add physics to your objects in Blender. Unlike the Soft Body and Cloth simulations, the Rigid Body simulation will not deform the object. Instead, it will keep the structure of the mesh and make sure everything is rigid. This system also works very well with the animation system in Blender. This means you can have some objects that are animated and some that are not, and everything will still interact with each other.
