A calculation formula is an equation made up of one or more statements expressing operations that, when performed, produce a result. Formulas can analyze, compare, concatenate, condense, convert, expand, format, parse, replace, or summarize any of FileMaker’s supported data types. They can range in size from a simple mathematical equation to an extremely complex collection of interrelated expressions and nested logical clauses involving values of any data type.
