MobileMe (an evolution of .Mac) is an online service provided by Apple that not only provides basic features such as e-mail, file sharing, and web site hosting, but also provides a link between many OS X applications and computers. However, to take advantage of MobileMe, you'll have to shell out for a yearly subscription (currently $99 per year in the States). Is it worth it?
That's a question you'll have to answer yourself, but it helps to know what MobileMe is all about.
