So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 15. Snow Leopard Applications
If Snow Leopard came preinstalled on your new computer, then you'll find all sorts of software, including iLife and some third-party applications, already installed. If you purchased the Snow Leopard DVD and did a clean install of it on your computer, you won't find quite as much software, but you will find a number of applications that are important and useful.
