First, we need to carefully wire the logic level converter into place. There are a number of configurations for wiring these, so the PIN labels are extremely important. The level converter should be placed over the notch on the breadboard, and then connections made to the rows it occupies. Importantly, the low voltage side of the logic converter should be facing the front of the robot (which I'll call the bottom of the breadboard). Have a look at the next photo to see how:
