When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Background information
The internet can be claimed to be one of man's greatest achievements that has contributed to the rise of a generation that is interconnected and more informed. Social media has been one of the ways through which people have stayed connected with their loved ones and have been getting certain of their information. Social media is powered by several social networking companies, some of which have focused on some niches, such as sharing pictures or videos while others just offer an all-rounded platform to share just about anything. One of the oldest of the current platforms is Facebook, which was founded over a decade ago and today can boast of having the highest number of users, 1.7 billion (Bober & Brasnett, 2009).
