We mentioned in Chapter 7, Pretexting, that phones are very effective at getting targets to immediately comply with requests. We also said that most social engineers have shifted to internet-based attack techniques and therefore the potential for phones in social engineering is still high. There are some tools that can be used to make a phone-based attack more effective. We shall look into some of these tools.
