Downloading and Installing Unity

Before we dive headfirst into the game development aspects of this book, we need to get our Unity environment up and running. You can download the latest Unity release at their Web site: While writing this book, we used version 4.5.1. You may end up with a newer version depending on when you bought the book, but as long as it is 4.5.0 or above, you will be able to follow along.
