Animation Principles

We won’t go into a lot of detail about the rules of animations because there are many other detailed guides available on them. However, anyone creating animations should know at least the simple definitions of the principles of animating. These 12 rules have been the standard since the early days of animation, well before the first Mario was even an idea:
