Monetization can be a sticky subject and a deep rabbit hole in which to dive, but assuming you want to continue making games in the future, it’s possible that you may want to make some money off of the ones you’ve created. Some people find the idea that game development is “business” to be unpalatable, but the simple fact remains that a career as a developer means you are in the business of making games.
