I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Device ownership
As we reviewed in Chapter 1, Getting Started, AirWatch has set up its deployment based on three different ownership types:
- Corporate-dedicated
- Corporate-shared
- Employee owned

There is also the unassigned ownership type used as a failover assignment in the event a device doesn't get an ownership assigned.
For the most part, you will most likely fall into two of these categories based on whether you are deploying a BYOD or corporate-owned deployment. Most likely, you will have a combination of both deployments and for BYOD, you will assign everything with employee-owned as the privacy given that the devices are someone else's ownership.
