Lesson 19The Camera

The camera acts as a roving eye, telling a story as it travels throughout the scene. It gives the viewer a privileged position from which to watch the story unfold. As you plan your camera shots, try to focus on what holds your attention, what makes an image strong, and when a timed action should take place. Consider these options, keeping in mind that the human eye is drawn to specific things, such as movement, color differences, and weights of objects in a shot.
