In this lesson we will learn the fundamentals of UVW unwrapping. We will be laying out the faces of our object in the preparation of texturing, which we will cover in the next lesson. Before we can texture though, UVW unwrapping is a necessary step for any asset you might have to make in a game. Regardless of the size or level of importance of the object, doing a good job of UVW unwrapping is a skill any serious game artist should have.
