Building Amazon Alexa skills

Amazon Echo consists of speech commands that come from the official Amazon and third parties. Amazon requires an Amazon developer account to develop programs on top of Amazon Echo. You should register Amazon Alexa developer through the website on https://developer.amazon.com/alexa.  

In this section, we will develop a new skill for Amazon Echo. We want our Amazon Echo to detect our voice command to turn on/off LED. After registration on Amazon Alexa developer, you visit developer console. Click on the ALEXA tab. You should get two options that are shown in the following screenshot:
