About the Authors
Avron Barr
Avron Barr edited the seminal Handbook of Artificial Intelligence while at Stanford University and then co-founded Teknowledge, an early AI startup in Silicon Valley. As a consultant, he helps people understand, explain, and market cutting-edge software. Avron is an expert on the infrastructure needed to support AI-assisted learning. He chaired the IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee and currently serves on the IEEE Educational Activities Board. He’s had a life-long interest in how AI will change the way we know, the way we learn, and the way we teach.
