About the Authors
Alan Berger is associate professor of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is founding director of P-REX, the Project for Reclamation Excellence, a multidisciplinary design and research lab discovering new ways to see, measure, and act on highly disturbed sites and landscape systems earmarked for adaptive reuse by society.
Case Brown researches large landscapes from the perspective of interdisciplinary design, specializing in the use of digital tools to visualize data-driven futures.
