Chapter 9 The Goal Tree – A New Way to Make and Use It
One thing I haven’t yet touched on is the power of combining Lean, Six Sigma, and the Theory of Constraints. I will do that in a future chapter, but, in this chapter, I want to introduce you to a simple planning tool known as the Goal Tree. I began using the Goal Tree quite a few years ago, back when it was known as the Intermediate Objectives Map (IO Map), but, since then, I have modified it on numerous occasions so that it has become a very powerful planning tool for me.
