Creating a workflow automatically

Informatica PowerCenter provides you with a utility to create a workflow directly from the Designer client tool. This feature lets you create a workflow for a particular mapping from the Designer screen. To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. In the Designer, open the mapping for which you wish to generate a workflow. Navigate to Mappings | Generate Workflow:

 

  1. In the next screen, select the appropriate option for your session task that will be created. By default, you create Workflows with a non-reusable session:
