I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a workflow automatically
Informatica PowerCenter provides you with a utility to create a workflow directly from the Designer client tool. This feature lets you create a workflow for a particular mapping from the Designer screen. To do so, perform the following steps:
- In the Designer, open the mapping for which you wish to generate a workflow. Navigate to Mappings | Generate Workflow:
- In the next screen, select the appropriate option for your session task that will be created. By default, you create Workflows with a non-reusable session:
