Objective-C is the programming language used in this book, so it only makes sense to include a chapter on this mighty fine programming language. Besides, Objective-C is the programming language you will use as you learn iPad programming. It is not the only programming language used for iPad programming, but it is by far the most popular. And Apple recommends Objective-C for iOS programming. That’s why it is used for all of the source code provided in this book.
