So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4. Getting Started with Objective-C
Objective-C is the programming language used in this book, so it only makes sense to include a chapter on this mighty fine programming language. Besides, Objective-C is the programming language you will use as you learn iPad programming. It is not the only programming language used for iPad programming, but it is by far the most popular. And Apple recommends Objective-C for iOS programming. That’s why it is used for all of the source code provided in this book.
All things Objective-C is simply too large a topic to be covered in a single chapter, and it is beyond the scope of this book. There are, however, some excellent books devoted to Objective-C, including
