It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Designer Essentials
The Designer screen has several sections you want to become familiar with: the Palette, Viewer, Components, Media, and Properties sections.
Even though MIT App Inventor does not require using code in the traditional sense, some of the concepts covered here are very detailed and technical, so learning how they work and impact the other pieces of your app is important.
