Lesson 10 | Using Editing Tools

This lesson describes how to use editing tools in Revit. You begin the lesson by learning about the various tools on the Create, Modify, Edit, and Clipboard panels. Then, you learn some recommended practices for using editing tools. The lesson concludes with an exercise on adding and modifying walls using editing tools.

Most building designs repeatedly use similar areas or sections. You can speed up the process and accuracy of adding building components by using editing tools to capitalize on the symmetry and repetition in the design. The following illustration shows copying a wall six times by using the Array tool.
