Using the drill-down (Insertion) feature

This feature was known as drill-down in earlier releases, but now it is known as Insertion. The main idea of this feature is that you can interact with the chart, and treat it like a selector. So, for example, if you click on any part of a pie chart that shows the sales by product, you can insert the selected product in a specific cell, and then filter the data in another chart to display only the information for that product. This was also known as the master-detail concept in other tools.

Here, we will configure the insertion feature for the Sales and Quantity by Product combination chart:

1. Select the Sales and Quantity by Product dashboard component, and navigate to the Properties panel.
2. Select the Insertion ...
