Formatting the dashboard components
We can use formatting options to control the position, size, and alignment of our dashboard components. This will help us adjust the dashboard layout to deliver the right look and feel to the end user. We need to remember that a dashboard is totally dependent on delivering information using a simple and good look and feel.
We can perform the following activities to format our dashboard components:
- Aligning components
- Adjusting component size
- Spacing components
- Ordering components
- Grouping and ungrouping components
We've already used many formatting features while we were progressing through this book, and we will keep using them. You can see the formatting toolbar in this screenshot:
