We are starting to really make some progress with our knowledge and it is starting to show as our SplunkApp is looking better with each development iteration. There is one thing we need to be mindful of; as well as delivering information that the end user is going to find useful, we also need to put it in a format whereby the user will be able to view the data readily and have it presented to them in a format that is easy on the eye, draws them in, and gets them to want more.

This is where our layouts, navigation, and menus come into play. Most of our users these days will have used a computer and had exposure to a menu select interface, but you may have quite a few users who have not used Splunk before. ...
