THE STEPS TAKEN IN DEVELOPING THE INSTRUMENT, how the items were developed, the internal consistency of the four scales (reliability), and the research conducted to determine the construct and concurrent validity of the instrument are described below. Research results that demonstrate the relationship of the LTI to meta-cognition and to personality as measured by the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, although not conclusive, will also be presented here.
