Applying Intrinsic Enablers

There is a saying: “Choose a job that you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” It’s simple enough to understand what this means: If you do what you love, then work won’t feel like … well, work. Is there truth to this? For the most part, yes. When you are intrinsically motivated in your work, you work because there is inherent value in it and you derive personal gratification versus working because you are extrinsically motivated by compensation.
