Installation of the first Manager Service and DEM Orchestrator node

In this section, we will walk you through the step-by-step recipe of installing the Manager Service and DEM Orchestrator component in a single server since both follow identical HA failover behavior. However, Manager Service requires a manual failover while the DEM Orchestrator is automatic.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for installing the first manager service and DEM orchestrator node are as follows:

  • Allocate the hostname and IP address, and create DNS records (A and PTR) for the WEB virtual IP in load balancer and two MGR nodes (MGR1 and MGR2).
