Configuring the Hadoop-YARN services

Hadoop-YARN services are configured using a property tag. A property tag contains the name, value, and description of a property. It also contains an optional flag to mark the property as final. The default values for these properties are defined in the yarn-default.xml file. An administrator can override the default values by defining properties in the yarn-site.xml file.
