Torts are wrongful acts between individuals. Lawyers and commentators have started to use the term cybertorts to describe torts arising from internet communications.52 (Terms are always trendier when cyber is added as a preface!) Courts are applying traditional tort law principles to areas where communications and personal interactions occur electronically.
