Examining the Challenge Area
Because your robot (either autonomous or hand-held) can move anywhere it likes, you will not be limited to the boundaries of the challenge area. The area you will be working with is the commander’s hand, and because of this, the models must be secured in place (with tape or Velcro). Moving any of the mechanisms will be treated as additional damage to the hand and penalty points will be received.
Because avoiding further damage to the hand is so important, you will be allowed to place colored tape anywhere in the challenge area to assist your robot with maneuvering (using the Light or Color sensors, for example).
