Charles Riley was an intense man with a great sense of humor who was known to work very long hours. His colleagues had nicknamed him “Chucky” after the crazy doll portrayed in the movie Child’s Play because of his intensity and laser beam focus. I had never met him but had been told by a colleague that his reputation for being intense was justified.
