It's November, and Dana Lehman, superintendent of the Uncommon Schools Boston network, is holding her weekly meeting with Debbie Previna, principal of Grove Hall Prep. Prior to arriving at the school, Dana consulted her superintendent's dashboard (see section later in chapter) and noticed that sixth-grade science scores on the previous interim assessment were notably lower than those of other grades and subjects.
