I talk a lot about risk because I believe that it truly is the secret ingredient of a purposeful life—even though the concept of taking risks isn’t exactly a secret. We all know how we feel about risk. It’s uncomfortable and downright scary because it means we can fail and lose everything we’ve already accomplished. But mustering the courage to step out of our comfort zones and branch out into new and uncharted territory is what separates those who are just surviving from those who are thriving in a life of power, purpose, and passion.
