All passion-sparking includes some kind of risk, but in this chapter I want to discuss how to temper that risk with a specific plan or strategy that ensures you are making your best, most concerted effort toward success. I call it your “parachute,” and it’s a simple way to mitigate the risk of any opportunity by planning for it, around it, and through it, in case of unexpected challenges or obstacles.
