I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 3. Configuration Best Practices
In Chapter 2, Load Balancing and Clustering Best Practices, we learned about clustering and load balancing best practices. We learned about the configuration of various components for load balancing and clustering. In Chapter 1, Architectural Best Practices, we learned about the reference architecture of a Liferay-Portal-based solution and its various components. All of these components are configurable and allow us to change their behavior according to our requirements. In this chapter, we will focus on the configuration settings that can improve the performance of the overall solution. We will also talk about the consequences of applying various configuration settings.
