The Setup
When I want to get super-soft, glamorous light, I use the biggest softbox I can find. This one, which is literally 6 feet tall and placed directly beside the subject, creates amazingly beautiful wrapping light and lots of dramatic shadows on the other side of her face. Couple that with the already soft light from the continuous fluorescent bulbs, and you’ve got a perfect setup for shooting glamour portraits.
