I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Getting Started with Natural Light
When learning to light, my recommendation is that you first become a student of the light that is already around you. Everyone knows that the largest source of natural light in our world is the sun. Yet, sunlight comes in many forms. The color and contrast of midday sun is different than the golden light before sunset. Direct sunlight is significantly different than the diffused sunlight that happens on cloudy days. Both sunlight that bounces in through a window and open shade provide usable, soft light.
