In the previous chapter, we created our first screen. After creating it with plain React Native code, we went ahead and imported some Galio components, which helped us style and create the layout in a much easier and simpler manner.
This chapter is going to be a better introduction to Galio. We'll learn how to use it and why most programmers look for a user interface (UI) solution such as Galio to solve most of their developing processes. As we saw in the last chapter, just using the core react-native components means the code gets really large and hard to maintain. Galio components come packed with many different props that make life a lot easier.
