What Is Color?

The first surface attribute that we encounter is that of color. Now, I know what you are thinking: “Oh, no, here comes the boring section on color theory.” Don’t be afraid; I won’t delve into it for too long. While color theory might sound boring, to me it is a fascinating world that when studied and mastered can be used to help bring your messages across to your audience.

Color theory is more than just a bunch of color wheels with primary, secondary, and complementary colors; it is also about “perception,” or how colors interact with each other and how they affect the human psyche.
