Installing a Linux Server |
From massive mainframe systems to simple Internet of Things (IoT) devices, smart TVs, phones, and Tera-Core servers—if you can imagine it, it’s probably possible to get a Linux distribution on any given target platform or hardware of your choice. There are many ways to install the software too: via a USB/flash drive, optical media, network, and so on. Network installation options can be a wonderful help when you’re installing a large number of hosts. Another popular method of installing a Linux distribution is from what is known as “Live Media,” which simply allows you to try the software before committing to installing it.
