So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Backups |
Performing backups is a critical part of any server’s maintenance, because a production server that is not backed up is a disaster waiting to happen. Managing backups is also one of the responsibilities of the system administrator. Of course, simply performing backups isn’t the full extent of your responsibilities; you also have to periodically test the backups and ensure that they are accessible and restorable.
