A Brief TCP/IP Tutorial

We will discuss the TCP/IP protocol suite and the features it provides for network. Those familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing might still want to read this section. We show some of the tools to use on both Linux and Windows to display network information details. We start with a diagram of the components of the protocol suite, shown in Figure 10-1.
