Clusters need care and feeding, just like humans. Of course, you won’t find most clusters chowing down at Burger King, but they do need attention nonetheless. Clusters require maintenance and a watchful eye for them to run at optimal efficiency.
All clusters need some sort of monitoring software to keep tabs on what’s going on. It’s better to find out what might potentially cause problems in the future than to be called by a user wanting to know why they’re unable to access certain resources.
