Chapter 15. Working on the Network

Many of the commands in this chapter are so rich in features and power that they deserve books of their own. This book can’t begin to cover all of the awesome stuff you can do with ssh, rsync, wget, and curl, for instance, but it can get you started. The best thing to do with these commands is to try them, get comfortable with the basics, and then begin exploring the areas that interest you. There’s enough to keep you busy for a long time, and after you start using your imagination, you’ll discover a world of cool applications for the programs you’re going to read about in this chapter.
